Greenvolt in Madrid is seeking a BESS Construction Manager to oversee the construction of renewable energy projects across Europe. The role involves supervising project quality, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring project compliance with permitting requirements.

Ideal candidates will possess at least 5 years of experience in renewable energy projects, preferably BESS, and have an engineering background. The company values teamwork, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Renewable Energy projects, especially BESS.
• Experience in Project Management courses like PMP or Prince2 is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and learn quickly.

Greenvolt Power Spain is looking for a BESS Construction Manager who will be a direct contributor to the correct construction of Greenvolt Power projects footprint in Europe by actively participating in the design supervision and design of large-scale BESS projects and electrical infrastructure.

Key accountabilities

• Collaborate in the tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) in technical requirements, contract discussions.
• Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with internal staff and BOS/BOP Contractors.
• Supervises the quality of services and products provided by external suppliers.
• Support in the definition, preparation and control the documentation to be able to start timely construction of the renewable energy project.
• Travels to Construction Sites regularly, follows construction progress and provides solutions for construction matters & schedule mitigation.
• Supports Procurement to prepare technical documentation and scope for bidding procedure for external suppliers.
• Schedules project steps and works to achieve the most efficient, timely and cost-effective construction of BESS plants.
• Ensures all Permitting parameters are followed during the construction phase.
• Reports project status, recommends solutions and informs about potential risks to the Construction Manager & Director.
• Manages and supervises payments approvals and proper documentation preparation to obtain use permit accordingly to project plan.
• Coordinates information flow between the Company and public institutions e.g.: Municipality, and Public Institutions in project scope and on behalf of SPV.
• Coordinates internal information flow within Development Team, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Tax, HSE & Quality.
• CAPEX monitoring during construction phase.

Qualifications

• Engineering background (preferable Electrical Engineer).
• Minimum5years of experience in Renewable Energy projects (preferably BESS) and/or other Power related field
• PMP, Prince2 or other Project Management course is a plus
• Experience in working with Autocad , MS Project, MS Office
• Organisational, teamwork and reporting skills,
• English professional level & 1 additional language is a plus.
• Willingness to absorb new knowledge and perform under pressure is a must
