We’re hiring a Project Development Manager – Renewable Energy (Government Liaison) to join CATL’s Spain subsidiary , supporting the launch of major renewable energy initiatives.

Location : Spain

Company : CATL – Spain Subsidiary

Annual Gross Salary : €70,000–€112,000

CATL is leading global energy transition projects, and in Spain we’re developing strategic renewable energy projects . This role focuses on early-stage project development —working closely with government agencies to secure all necessary approvals and pave the way for engineering and construction.

Your Mission :

• Lead project pre-development activities , including permit applications, approvals, and regulatory filings
• Coordinate land surveys, site exploration, and feasibility studies to prepare projects for engineering execution
• Serve as the primary liaison with government authorities to ensure smooth project progression
• Collaborate with internal teams and technical experts to unlock project milestones
• Support long-term project planning and create a foundation for successful construction and delivery

We’re Looking For :

Engineering or technical background (civil, energy, electrical, or related fields)

Experience in project development / government liaison for energy or infrastructure projects

Knowledge of permits, licenses, and regulatory procedures in Spain

Strong communication and relationship-building skills with public authorities

Fluent in English ; Spanish required, Chinese is a plus

Proactive, structured, and goal-oriented professional
