Formación

  • 5+ años de experiencia en desarrollo greenfield en España.
  • Conocimiento del mercado eléctrico español y regulaciones.

  • Identificar oportunidades de desarrollo de proyectos de energía solar y eólica.
  • Gestionar el proceso completo de permisos y autorizaciones.

We are an electricity producer from wind, solar, hydro, biomass and storage and also a service provider to 3rd party clients such as Development, EPC, O&M and Distribution. Today we are in 20 countries, split among 4 continents, and offering a global operating capacity to our clients. We are listed on the regulated Euronext market in Paris since July 2014.

Our Development department business line is looking for a Project Development Manager, who will have the following responsibilities:

  • Identify and originate project development opportunities on behalf of the business to grow a pipeline of solar PV and Wind projects throughout Spain;
  • Lead the full development of the projects until the ready to build status;
  • Perform technical / financial due diligence assessments, lead deal structuring and handle commercial negotiations with local developers for greenfield development;
  • Manage relationships with authorities, grid operators, regulators, market operators and other relevant stakeholders;
  • Manage the full process of permitting and authorizations requested;
  • Manage the grid connection process;
  • Land prospection and land lease agreements negotiation with land owners;
  • Coordination of the technical studies required to file the different authorizations to build and operate solar and wind farms;
  • Prospection of possible local partnerships to support the development;
  • Support in the origination of Corporate PPAs and in the preparation of commercial and technical offers for clients;
  • Project Tender participations coordination;
  • Manage and interact with different external providers;
  • Project planning, budget definition and follow up.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture or similar;
  • At least 5 years of experience in greenfield development in Spain and similar positions;
  • Knowledge of Google Earth tool;
  • AutoCad and similar cartography tools knowledge is a plus;
  • Demonstrated understanding working with solar PV and costs (Wind technology knowledge is a plus);
  • Knowledge of the electricity market in Spain, including but not limited to interaction with grid operators (REE and distribution companies);
  • Knowledge of the Spanish regulation and development roadmaps;
  • Good knowledge of regulatory framework (greenfield and self-consumption) in Spain;
  • Good knowledge of the grid and the grid connection process in Spain;
  • English and Spanish proficiency (mandatory).

KEY SKILLS

  • Proactivity in looking for new opportunities via greenfield or acquisitions;
  • Good local network with grid operators (REE and distribution companies);
  • Proactive and organized;
  • Availability and sense of responsibility;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team;
  • Good financial and analytical skills (proficiency in Excel is a plus);
  • Commercial and negotiation skills;
  • Availability for national travels through Spain.
