Job Description:

We are looking for a Project Development Manager to join our Development Department at DARGON ENERGY. The ideal candidate is passionate about renewable energy and motivated to learn.

Position Summary: The role focuses on developing Wind, PV, and BESS projects in Spain from early stages through investment decisions, and handing over to the construction & operations team following DARGON ENERGY standards and project management guidelines.

Functions & Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Head of the Business and Development Department.
• Supporting internal approvals and procurement processes.
• Co-developing and developing PV, Wind, Storage, and Hydrogen projects from greenfield to RTB and COD status.
• Managing the permitting process, including EIA and permits, liaising with authorities, and representing DARGON ENERGY's interests.
• Building relationships with landowners and local communities to ensure project success.
• Managing activities related to site pre-selection, environmental analysis, wind assessment, and layout optimization, either directly or through external consultants.
• Supervising the permitting process for new plants under development and asset legalization at COD.
• Collaborating with other internal departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or renewable energy background preferred.
• 3-4 years of experience in permitting, development, and acquisition of renewable assets (Wind and PV) at utility scale.
• Experience with project development processes in Spain, including land acquisition, environmental permitting, grid connection, and interconnection.
• Knowledge of RTB and COD regulatory and legal processes.
• Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Appreciation for cultural differences and willingness to travel.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
