BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) is seeking a Project Delivery Manager for its Barcelona office. The role collaborates with management and the project teams to ensure all project stages are set up and managed effectively, delivering high-standard design solutions across international projects.

Candidates should have an architectural degree and 8+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in a management role, fluent in English and Spanish, and strong organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead project/stage set up activities.
• Proactively liaise with the project teams to establish the program and contractual & deliverable obligations.
• Liaise with the project teams to resolve contractual issues proactively.
• Monitor all management tasks to ensure alignment with standards and best practices.
• Prepare, update and communicate key documents including project plans, detailed design programs, change control processes and design risk registers.
• Liaise with clients to drive discussions to resolution.
• Submit monthly reports.
• Produce weekly dashboard to keep the client informed about activities on consultant side.
• Support the design team in the administration and management of the project.
• Arrange and chair meetings, prepare agendas, and write minutes.
• Report to the Partner-in-Charge on design aspects and to the Managing Director on operations, risk management, contractual, and others matters.
• Strategically design timelines and work-plans.
• Proactively deal with risk assessment and management.
• Support, advise, direct and educate all design processes from a technical and buildability perspective.
• Support the project team to develop compelling creative design scenarios.
• Contribute to Design Reviews.
• Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and permitting officials.
• Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to help resolve complex technical and design challenges.

Your main responsibility will be (not limited to):

• Lead project/stage set up activities.
• Proactively liaise with the project teams to establish the program and contractual & deliverable obligations.
• Liaise with the project teams to resolve contractual issues proactively.
• Monitor all management task to make sure that they are delivered aligned with standards and best practices.
