Formación

• Experiencia mínima de 2 años en ingeniería de software, ingeniería de sistemas o mecatrónica.
• Confianza en el uso de lenguajes de programación en automatización.
• Fluente en español y comunicación en inglés.

This position reports to Engineering Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your knowledge by applying basic design thinking / design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is : Fully remote.

This role is contributing to the RAMA Division (B&R), Application Engineering Department, in the Basque Country area, Spain. You will be mainly accountable for :

• Workout concepts and develop application software for machine automation.
• Customer support is our most important responsibility, and you will provide support for our entire hardware and software portfolio.
• Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities on customers' projects.
• Using your experience and communication skills to hold technical customer training courses.
• Becoming an expert in specialized areas of technology and making this knowledge available to the sales team and to our customers.
• Collaborating effectively with our customers, guiding their projects towards common completion.

Qualifications for the role

• You have completed a technical education, grade or master’s in engineering, followed by at least 2 years’ experience in software engineering, systems engineering, mechatronics engineering, or similar.
• You have experience and confidence using the most common programming languages used in automation.
• Knowledge of motion control, robotics, machine vision, and IoT is a plus.
• You enjoy direct customer contact and working in a dynamic team.
• You are motivated, a solution-oriented worker, and a networked thinker.
• You are fluent in Spanish and able to communicate in English without any problems.
