A leading transport solutions provider in Valencia is looking for a System Assurance Technical Manager (RAMS). You will lead assurance and validation activities for Main Line projects, ensuring technical solutions meet regulations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, at least 2 years in Rail Signaling, and strong communication skills. This role offers opportunities for travel and involvement in strategic initiatives.

Formación

  • At least 2 years of experience in Rail Signaling.
  • 2+ years as a RAMS engineer with knowledge of CENELEC standards.
  • Fluent in English and willing to travel.

We are seeking a System Assurance Technical Manager (RAMS) to lead System Assurance and Validation and Verification activities for assigned Main Line projects. The role involves ensuring that technical solutions and processes meet applicable regulations, starting from system concept analysis, assurance, and V&V plan preparation, to the final validation of solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating assurance activities
  • Serving as a primary contact internally and externally, including stakeholders and global customers
  • Supporting and participating in strategic initiatives within the System Assurance & Test Automation area
  • Supporting the bid phase of projects worldwide with regional teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, preferably with a railway specialization
  • At least 2 years of experience in Rail Signaling, with knowledge of MT signaling solutions (ETCS L1, L2, Core Signalling)
  • 2+ years as a RAMS engineer, with deep knowledge of CENELEC standards (EN50126, EN50129, EN50128, EN50159)
  • Understanding of EU directives like UE 402/2013
  • Hands-on experience in Hazards Management, SIL and THR ratings, RAMS studies (FMEA, FMECA, FTAs)
  • Experience in Requirements Management, traceability, and validation
  • Desirable: experience as a tester or similar role
  • Strong communication, negotiation skills, and team orientation
  • Fluent in English and willing to travel
  • Proactive and confident attitude
