Mondia in Madrid is seeking a Project Manager to ensure global IT/Telecom initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors.

You will define project scope, develop detailed plans, track progress, manage risks, and report to stakeholders. Fluent English is required; experience with both agile and traditional IT projects is valued.

This role offers a dynamic, international environment with hybrid work and a modern office in Madrid.

Formación

• 5 years of project management experience handling complex multidisciplinary IT/Telecom/Media projects.
• University degree.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional projects, ideally in an international setting.
• Experience with traditional IT/Technology/Telecom projects with virtual teams; agile background is a plus.
• Strong analytics to build project charters prioritising activities with big business impact.
• Ability to gather and formulate technical and business requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience coordinating development, testing, business analysis, and project management in an agile environment.
• Excellent knowledge of JIRA and MS Office.
• Languages: Excellent written and spoken English.

• Contribute to continuous improvement in the PMO.

About The Role

AsProject Manager, you are ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and budget, and are defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and providing technical feasibility. Definition of the project team for each project, assigning roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.

• Map out project scope and dependencies across all teams
• Ensure resource availability and allocation for the project
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Coordinate and manage internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects, ensuring deliverables are available on time
• Manage the implementation of the plan with a focus on the quality of delivery
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Regularly report on project progress, escalating issues to management as necessary
• Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimise project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Close projects with appropriate closure processes
• Contribute to continued improvement in the PMO

Requirements

• 5 years of equivalent project management experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects in the IT / Telecom / Start-up/ Media space
• University degree
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional projects, preferably in an international environment
• Experience working with traditional IT/Technology /Telecom projects with virtual teams - agile projects are a plus
• Strong analytics understanding to build project charters that prioritise activities that deliver the biggest business impact
• Strong understanding of both business as well as technology stakeholder requirements
• Excellent knowledge of how the collaboration between Software Development, Testing, Business Analysts, and Project Management takes place in an agile work environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to prioritise work efficiently, and good team orientation
• Experience in gather and formulating technical and business requirements
• Excellent analytical skills (problem structuring and problem-solving), able to handle complex analyses
• Excellent JIRA and MS-Office knowledge
• Languages: Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
