Job summary

Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is seeking a Program Director for Iberia (Spain & Portugal) to lead a consolidated team and strengthen stakeholder relationships as part of MSC's strategic plan.

The successful candidate will bring proven management experience, strategic thinking, and strong communications skills, with deep knowledge of the Spanish and Portuguese seafood sectors and experience in the food industry, preferably seafood.

The Program Director, Spain and Portugal will lead a consolidated team, strengthening the relationship with stakeholders, following the implementation of the strategic plan of the organization, and raising the awareness of MSC at all levels.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with:

• proven management experience
• strong communications skills
• a deep understanding of the Spanish and Portuguese seafood sector, and
• experience in the food sector, preferably seafood.
