Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University IE Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center is looking for an Assistant (temporary) to join its team!

The Program Assistant will support the Associate Dean, Associate Director of the School, and Junior Manager with daily operations related to the Master’s programs. The primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth flow of daily activities of the master's degrees. The Assistant will report to the Associate Dean and Associate Director and collaborate with faculty, professors, and students to facilitate program development.

We are seeking a full-time team member in Madrid.

Responsibilities

Your role as Program Assistant will involve:

Administrative Tasks
  • Assist with daily administrative duties such as expense reporting, meeting room bookings, and preparing meeting materials.
  • Coordinate with travel agencies for faculty travel arrangements.
  • Manage requirements for virtual sessions, including online courses and Saturday VC sessions.
Interaction with Students
  • Meet with students to address issues, provide advice, and support with empathy.
  • Proactively manage student relationships.
  • Support students facing academic difficulties during face-to-face and online periods.
  • Identify ways to enhance the student experience.
Interaction with Professors and Departments
  • Coordinate with professors regarding student issues and course management under the guidance of the Associate Dean and Director.
  • Assist in preparing materials for collaboration with various departments including Admissions, Marketing, and Student Services.
  • Support event planning for graduations and school activities, ensuring resources and plans are in place for success.
Internal Development
  • Collaborate professionally with other Program Directors and Assistants.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • An international outlook and experience working with diverse cultures.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a focus on service and student support.
  • Initiative and openness to challenges.
