Job Overview

Location: Sant Joan Despí (BCN), ES

We are looking for a Profile Engineer in Barcelona to set up data generation and personalization of physical and virtual profiles. The role is part of the Service Delivery & Operations function under the supervision of the Regional Head of Service Delivery & Operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test a configuration of a new product based on specifications provided by the customer product manager.
• Prepare and provide configuration for new products.
• Test configurations previously developed.
• Transfer the released configuration to a real production environment in the optimized and compliance conditions.
• Take accountability and responsibility towards assigned process roles, support level 1 data generation engineers on error troubleshooting.
• Coordinate tasks with DataGen Engineer to set up the product in a real production environment.
• Support DataGen Engineer in case of an incident.
• Stay updated with new product specifications and updates in the product/service specifications.
• Keep in contact with R&D for new software releases.
• Ensure specifications are received from Customer Project Managers.
• Evaluate, improve and add applicable work instructions.

• Basic knowledge of PC-network (LAN).
• Basic knowledge of database systems like MS SQL Server.
• Basic understanding of software development processes.

• Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
