Giesecke+Devrient busca un/una Ingeniero de Aplicaciones eSIM e IoT para un equipo internacional. Colaborarás con desarrollo, IT Infrastructure y Soporte al Cliente para desplegar y administrar aplicaciones Java internas.

El rol requiere experiencia en Java, Linux, AWS y Kubernetes, con foco en automatización y mejoras en monitorización. Se ofrece trabajo híbrido con posibilidad de trabajo remoto parcial.

Formación

• Titulación en Informática o equivalente.
• Experiencia en gestión de servidores web Apache, Tomcat y aplicaciones Java en entorno Linux.
• Conocimientos básicos de entornos Cloud, especialmente AWS, y orquestación con Kubernetes.
• Comprensión de conceptos de redes (OSI, TCP/IP).
• Habilidades de scripting (Bash, Python) y experiencia con Ansible para automatización.
• Conocimiento de procesos ITIL y gestión de servicios.
• Conocimiento de metodologías Agile/Scrum.
• Inglés escrito y hablado fluido.

Responsabilidades

• Instalar, integrar y solucionar incidencias de aplicaciones Java en datacenters y entornos Cloud.
• Operar servidores web, proxy y aplicaciones Java en Linux, gestionando certificados y claves.
• Analizar y resolver incidencias de Java conforme a SLA y procesos ITIL.
• Implementar, probar y documentar soluciones para clientes en coordinación con gestión de proyectos.
• Mantener y mejorar sistemas de monitorización, logging y gestión de eventos.
• Automatizar tareas operativas y despliegues con scripts y Ansible.

Application Engineer eSIM and IoT

This is a hands‑on engineering role in an international team responsible for deployment and administration of Java applications developed in-house. You will collaborate closely with the developers and with colleagues from IT Infrastructure and Customer Support.

Responsibilities:

• Install, integrate, and troubleshoot Java‑based applications hosted at G+D Datacenters and Cloud environments for market‑leading customers.
• Operate web servers, proxy servers, and Java applications in a Linux‑based environment, including the management of digital certificates and keys.
• Analyze and resolve incidents related to Java applications, in compliance with the service level agreements and service processes based on the ITIL framework.
• Implement, test, and document new customer solutions in close coordination with project management and other internal teams.
• Maintain and enhance our monitoring, logging, and event management systems.
• Automate regular operational support tasks and system deployments using scripts and Ansible.

Knowledge and skills:

• Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent qualification.
• Experienced in managing Web Servers, Apache, Tomcat, and Java Applications in a Linux based environment.
• Basic knowledge of Cloud Computing environments, particularly AWS, and container orchestration, such as Kubernetes (e.g. Amazon ECS).
• Understanding of networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP).
• Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) and ideally Ansible experience for automation and tooling.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and Service Management.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum teamwork.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
