Jobtailor in Sant Joan Despí is seeking an Engineer to prepare configurations for new products, test them, and transfer released configurations to production under compliant conditions. You will support Level 1 data generation engineers during troubleshooting and coordinate tasks with the DataGen Engineer to set up products in real production environments.

You will stay updated with new product specifications, keep in contact with R&D for releases, ensure specs are received from Customer Project

Formación

• Experience with database systems and system software.
• Basic knowledge of PC-network (LAN).
• Basic knowledge of MS SQL Server.
• Understanding of software development processes.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Solution oriented mindset.

• Ability to follow defined processes and work instructions.
• Fluent in Spanish (written) and English (written/spoken).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide configuration for new products
• Test configurations previously developed.
• Transfer the released configuration to a real production environment in the optimized and compliance conditions
• Take accountability and responsibility towards assigned process roles, support level 1 data generation engineers on error troubleshooting.
• Coordinate tasks with DataGen Engineer in order to set up the product in a real production environment
• Support DataGen Engineer in case of an incident
• Stay updated with new product specifications and updates in the product/service specifications
• Keep in contact with R&D for new software releases
• Ensure specifications are received from Customer Project Managers
• Evaluate, improve and add applicable work instructions

Requirements

• Important skills for Profile Engineers include experience in database systems and usage of system software.
• Basic knowledge of PC-network (LAN)
• Basic knowledge of database systems like MS SQL Server
• Basic understanding of software development processes
• Ability to work under pressure
