Main responsibilities:

  2. Finalize or preliminarily release reports in prescribed formats (e.g., narrative, synoptic report, Antech Oncopathology Advisory Panel case summaries) in compliance with service deadlines.
  3. Achieve reading 50% of case load within 3 months of start date.
  4. Participate in Antech Anatomic Pathology conferences, seminars, and rounds via Internet-based video conferencing.
  5. Assist lab personnel with specimen processing as needed.
  6. Participate in digital pathology consultations with other Antech pathologists.
  7. Engage in continuing education to stay current on diagnostic veterinary pathology methods and standards.
  8. Participate in internal Quality Control procedures.
  9. Contribute to training veterinary students, interns, and residents as time and interest allow.
  10. Complete other duties related to Anatomic Pathology, Antech, and Mars Veterinary Health as assigned.

Your Profile:

  1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent.
  2. Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) or European College of Veterinary Pathologists (ECVP).
  3. Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the respective country.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Strong teamwork skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and management.
  6. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Passion for helping animals and people.
  8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Ability to prioritize tasks.
  10. Ability to work independently, including remotely, using various platforms to stay connected.
  11. Experience with dictation software, especially Dragon Medical Practice Edition, is a plus.
  12. Fluency in Spanish, and proficiency in English and/or Portuguese are advantageous.
