Commitment : We offer 4 internships for the school year 2024-2025, which starts in October 2024. Interns could stay with us from 3 to 9 months.

Responsibilities

A teacher assistant supports the school’s language teachers and helps students with practice. Their tasks include encouraging oral practice of the foreign language, explaining the culture of their home country, and assisting with other scholastic duties. The internships are for students currently enrolled in higher education institutions in Programme countries and are also open to recent graduates.

Qualifications

Native-level or C1 in English, French, or German is required. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and / or young people, is energetic, proactive, culturally aware, patient, and mature. A clean criminal record is necessary. Knowledge of Spanish is preferable but not essential.

Additional Information

EXTRAS : Remuneration according to the ERASMUS+ Grant. All applications should be eligible for an Erasmus Placement Scholarship. Please consult your International Office at your University for further information.

Accommodation : Available at school housing or staff house.

Integration Process : All meals provided : breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Accident insurance at work.

Location : The school and housing are located in Rincon de la Victoria, situated just 12km east of Malaga. It makes a convenient base for those who work in the city but prefer sea breezes, beaches, and the relative tranquility of an overgrown fishing village. It is also a popular place for Spaniards to spend the summer months, with many families having second homes here.

Requirements

Languages : Proficient User C1 in English.

Level of Studies : Bachelor.
