Listgrove is pleased to support a high-quality plastic packaging manufacturer. If you are experienced in moulding processes, a Production Manager, or a Production or Process Supervisor / Engineer seeking a new challenge, this could be the ideal opportunity. We are looking for someone process-oriented eager to develop into management.

In this role, you will work with a team of approximately 30 technicians, responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production operations. Your main duties include managing production while ensuring teams meet production, quality, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production and support operators and technicians to ensure machine efficiency.
• Ensure proper machine and process operation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and report to senior management.
• Identify technical issues affecting productivity and quality, implement corrective actions, and coordinate with departments.
• Coordinate and prioritize technical work for optimal factory results.
• Identify, promote, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize cycle times and processes while reducing waste.
• Develop production schedules, plan, direct, and assign tasks to meet goals.
• Analyze and interpret daily data, prepare production reports.
• Monitor machine downtime, breakdowns, and ensure daily checks are performed.
• Organize and hold regular meetings with supervisors.
• Identify training needs, develop, motivate, and manage technical staff.
• Maintain a clean work environment and ensure procedures are followed.
• Review and implement procedures, explaining them to employees.
• Act as first point of contact outside regular hours for operational and technical staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Fluent in Spanish; English skills preferred.
• Experience with extrusion-blow molding using PE materials.
• Ability to analyze staffing needs and develop training programs.
• Proven team supervision experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in team development and implementing Continuous Improvement and Lean tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
