Listgrove is pleased to support a high-quality plastic packaging manufacturer.

If you are an experienced in the moulding processes, a Production Manager or a Production or Process Supervisor / Engineer looking for a new challenge, this could be the ideal opportunity. We are seeking someone who is process-oriented and eager to develop their career into management.

In this role, you will work with a team of approximately 30 technicians and be responsible for ensuring a smooth, safe, and efficient production operation. Your main responsibility will be to manage production while ensuring that all teams and employees meet expected levels of production, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise daily production and support operators and technicians to ensure machines run efficiently.
  • Ensure proper machine and process operation.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and report any process issues to senior management.
  • Identify technical issues affecting productivity and / or quality, implement corrective actions, and coordinate with various departments (Production, Quality, Maintenance, etc.).
  • Coordinate and prioritize technical work to achieve optimal results for the factory.
  • Identify, promote, and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize cycle times and processes while reducing waste.
  • Develop production schedules. Plan, direct, and assign tasks to the manufacturing staff to meet production goals. Analyze and interpret data received daily.
  • Prepare daily production figures for production meetings and compile end-of-month reports.
  • Monitor machine downtime and breakdowns for analysis and implementation of solutions, ensuring daily checks are carried out according to procedures.
  • Organize and hold regular meetings with supervisors.
  • Identify training needs for staff and ensure that training is carried out. Develop, motivate, and manage a technical team to maximize performance potential and meet current and future technical needs.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, ensuring equipment and tools are stored in the correct areas.
  • Ensure all employees follow procedures. Review existing procedures and implement new ones, explaining them to employees.
  • Act as the first point of contact for operational and technical staff outside of regular working hours.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience :

  • Fluent in Spanish, ideally with English language skills.
  • Experience with extrusion-blow molding processes using PE materials.
  • Ability to analyze staffing needs and develop training programs for technical staff.
  • Proven experience in supervising teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in implementing Continuous Improvement methodologies and Lean tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, others).
