Production Planning Business Process Owner

Role Overview

Are you an innovative thinker with a passion for driving transformation and building operating models? We are looking for a Production Planning Business Process Owner reporting to the Supply and Production Process Owner and Systems Integration Lead to join our Global Excellence team. In this role, you will drive business and digital transformation within the planning function to enable exceptional customer experience and sustainable growth in alignment with our division strategy.

Join our Huntsman Advanced Materials division and bring your expertise in transformation management and process development to make a substantial impact. This role offers you the opportunity to shape the future of our supply chain operations and requires a unique combination of business acumen and technical expertise. The role can be based in one of our Business Centers in Krakow, Poland or San Jose, Costa Rica.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine operating model: Develop business processes, and workflows and align practices across the organisation globally.
  • Promote organisational transformation: Collaborate in the development and deployment of a transformation roadmap and related projects.
  • Drive operational excellence and improve production planning practices:
  • Work with production and raw materials planners across the division to continuously align and improve the planning process.
  • Lead initiatives to implement best practices in production planning, driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and optimized resource utilization.
  • Manage change and project management: Promote change, drive training and project activities within your scope.
Experience And Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years in a production planning-related function.
  • Experience in a manufacturing company is required. Previous experience in the chemical sector is a big plus but not required.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to leverage data insights to meet business objectives.
  • Extensive experience with ERP tools - SAP (ECC) or SAP S/4HANA, MM and PP.
  • Change and project management experience: Proven ability to manage projects and drive change to deliver results in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and effectively communicate insights to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross regional departments.
