Nutreco in Spain seeks an Operations Assistant to support production by performing discharge, load, transport, clean and label tasks and to operate equipment to ensure safe, efficient processes.

You will log data in the appropriate systems, report progress of production orders and suggest improvements to optimize techniques, tools and workflows.

The role requires adherence to safety, environmental and quality regulations, and a commitment to keeping work areas clean and safe for the team.

Responsabilidades

• Executes operational activities / processes such as discharge, load, transport, clean, label, operate all equipment, in order to contribute to a safe, effective and efficient production processes.
• Periodically inspects and executes small maintenance tasks on the production equipment, signalling defects and deficiencies.
• Logs data and information on production orders and activities in the appropriate logbooks / systems in order to have a complete administration and insight in the state and progress of production orders
• Signals deviations in current processes, techniques and/or systems and flags opportunities for improvement with supervisor, in order to continuously optimize and improve operational (work) processes, tools and systems.
• Works in compliance with all relevant (personal as well as food) safety, environmental and quality regulations and procedures, as well as operational standards
• Ensures the work area is left clean and in a safe working condition and that there are no hazardous situations. Maintains the appearance of the production line(s), working area(s) and production site
