Job Purpose

Ensure a safe working environment for teams, with work planned to minimize HSE risks following Aliaxis Global Standards (Zero Accident Target). Manage the function to maintain high industrial activity levels and guarantee business continuity in a predictive manner (Injection manufacturing pipeline). Propose and execute projects to optimize manufacturing costs and timelines (SMED, 5S, S reduction). Develop team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify & eliminate HSE risks & impacts, providing safe working methods
• Learn & apply relevant HSE standards within the team and department
• Improve performance through KPIs, continuous improvement activities, and performance meetings
• Lead the function to positively impact cost reduction and quality expectations
• Implement actions aligned with Business Needs
• Set and evaluate strategic departmental goals
• Develop People: Build a pipeline of future leaders; monitor and evaluate staff performance
• Ensure adherence to company and industry regulations
• Provide high-quality reports and benchmark with other sites
• Maintain effective communication with superiors via weekly meetings
• Plan resources (labor, raw materials, machinery)
• Manage and control the entire area of responsibility, including professional and disciplinary management of employees
• Monitor and analyze production processes; coordinate maintenance and repairs
• Carry out annual investment planning and manage budgets
• Support the development of technical plastic parts and production processes
• Inspire staff to perform at their best, requiring excellent communication skills
• Drive S Reduction, OEE, and CI projects (SMED)

Required Experience and Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent
• 3+ years in a technical environment and minimum 3 years in team management
• HSEQ risk management and problem-solving experience (lean experience)
• Leadership and people management skills
• Strong understanding of risk management
• English at a technical level
• Six Sigma Yellow / Green belt advantageous
