We are an industry specialized in the manufacturing of components for electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles. With the support of 4,000 employees across 6 countries, operating in 13 production units and 3 engineering centers, we serve over 100 clients.

Are you passionate about optimizing production processes and continuous improvement? Do you have experience in tooling management and post-industrialization of products?

At Draxton Atxondo, our foundry plant located near Atxondo (Bilbao), we are looking for a Production Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will play a key part in managing production, ensuring quality, productivity, and cost control while collaborating with Engineering and Quality teams to improve industrial processes.

This position reports hierarchically and functionally to the Plant Engineering Manager.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily production to optimize quality and productivity, implementing improvements when needed.
  • Manage post-industrialization processes and product optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with the technical budget in terms of rejections, recoveries, and production rates.
  • Maintain and coordinate the upkeep and construction of tooling in production.
  • Ensure compliance with industrialization deadlines set by the Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve issues and assist customers.
  • Manage orders and reception.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, team training, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

To succeed in this role, you will need :

  • A degree in Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Production Engineer in the industrial sector.

  • Full-time position with flexible hours: Monday to Friday, flexible start time between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, finishing from 5:00 PM onwards. Intensive schedule on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
