Jet Aviation in Madrid, Spain is seeking a dedicated Full Stack Software Engineer to join the IFX platform team. You will develop front-end and back-end services, applying Clean Architecture and CQRS patterns to deliver scalable software for aviation.

You will collaborate with Basel engineers, contribute to automated tests, and participate in architecture discussions, while communicating in English in a global, hybrid-work environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming using C#, Java or Python.
• Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Good understanding of Clean Architecture, CQRS and Event Sourcing.
• Familiarity with TDD and automated testing.
• Strong communication skills and English proficiency (B2+).
• Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Position Summary

Based in Madrid, Spain, the Full Stack Software Engineer plays a key role in the development and evolution of Jet Aviation IFX, our proprietary In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) platform. Working in a global engineering environment, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that deliver innovative digital experiences for the aviation industry. This role is ideal for someone passionate about software architecture, modern development practices, and building high-quality applications across the full technology stack. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team in Basel, contributing to cutting-edge solutions while continuously developing your expertise in modern software architecture, event-driven systems, and IoT technologies. Strong communication and teamwork skills in English are essential.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Design and implement scalable backend services using object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• Apply Clean Architecture principles to build modular, maintainable, and testable software solutions.
• Implement software following CQRS (Command-Query Responsibility Segregation) and Event Sourcing patterns where appropriate.
• Contribute to Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and automated testing strategies.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Integrate software with IoT devices, real-time data streams, and external systems when required.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation to support software development and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure software quality by following coding standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with the Basel engineering team to develop and enhance Jet Aviation’s proprietary In-Flight Entertainment platform.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer or Software Developer.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) using C#, Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with at least one modern front-end framework, such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Good understanding of Clean Architecture principles and software design best practices.
• Practical knowledge of CQRS and Event Sourcing concepts.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to software quality and maintainability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an international engineering environment.
• Professional proficiency in English, B2 level or higher.
