About IdealTwin

IdealTwin is a web‑based SaaS spin‑off of BaboonLab that transforms BIM and 3D files into interactive, real‑time digital twins for the real‑estate market. The platform centralizes project data and integrates seamlessly with Unreal Engine experiences and WebGL viewers, enabling developers, architects, and asset managers to visualize, configure, and sell off‑plan units from a single web dashboard. It also supports building custom immersive applications via Unreal Engine plugins. Fully customer-funded, every feature shipped reaches real users. Our remote team operates on EU‑friendly hours, working a 40-hour week compressed into 4.5 days, with early wrap-up every Friday around 15:00 CET.

Role Overview – Product & Tech Lead

We seek a hands‑on Product & Tech Lead capable of bridging customer discovery, product strategy, and technical execution. You will engage with clients in the mornings, refine the roadmap at noon, and unblock pull requests in the afternoons. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the sole owner of IdealTwin, collaborating closely with our Technology Leads, who influence product evolution, until we expand into dedicated Product and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Discovery & Validation: Design interviews with partner customers, validate pain points, and translate insights into product hypotheses.
• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own quarterly roadmap and define measurable OKRs aligned with revenue targets.
• Technical Leadership: Review critical pull requests, guide architecture decisions, and manage technical debt.
• Delivery & Process: Conduct lightweight Scrum ceremonies (dailies, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and maintain a transparent backlog for a team of 3–4 developers.
• Go‑to‑Market Enablement: Package new modules into demos, pricing, and case studies with Sales & Marketing; track MRR uplift from new features.
• Business Development & Partnerships: Identify, pursue, and secure strategic customers and technology partners to accelerate market traction.

Qualifications (Must‑Have)

• 5+ years of combined experience in software engineering and product management.
• Fluency in at least one modern web stack (Node.js, Python, TypeScript/React/Vue, etc.).
• Proven ability to convert customer insights into shipped features.
• Hands‑on leadership of small, agile teams (2–5 engineers).
• Excellent written and spoken English; Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Skills (Nice‑to‑Have)

• Experience with Digital Twins, IoT, or Industry 4.0.
• Experience scaling SaaS ARR from €0 to €1M.
• Familiarity with real‑time 3‑D rendering libraries (Three.js, Babylon.js) or streaming pipelines (Kafka, MQTT).
• Knowledge of BIM standards and real estate sales processes.
