Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Software Engineering, Developer Enablement Manager to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Foster a Developer Enablement culture throughout all DXG Spain, creating a centralized expert capacity to empower all the different product development teams, not by assuming their work, but by making them more efficient in the different specialized disciplines, and supporting them with expert knowledge.
- Lead the unified vision and strategy for the main technological disciplines that support our product software engineers: CI / CD, UX / UI, Architecture, QE, DevOps, Security, AI, Tech Debt management, etc.
- Manage a team of software engineers, overseeing the development, implementation, and enhancement of commercial products. Be accountable for the performance and results of the teams, driving successful projects that align with business objectives. Ensure software solutions are innovative, reliable, and scalable.
Skills
- DevOps: Use systems and processes to coordinate between development and operations teams to improve and speed up software development processes, including automation, continuous delivery, agility, and rapid feedback.
- Product Software Engineering: Design, develop, test, and deploy software products; understand user needs, define specifications, design architecture, code, debug, and ensure product quality; knowledge of multiple programming languages, tools, methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Cloud Computing: Utilize and manage applications, data, and services on the internet; familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure; manage resources and set up cloud-based platforms.
- Implementation and Delivery: Translate plans into action; oversee delivery of projects or services; coordinate tasks and manage resources for timely objectives.
- Problem Solving: Understand complex situations, define problems, identify strategies, and implement effective solutions.
- People Management: Lead, motivate, engage and communicate effectively with a team; skills in delegation, conflict resolution, negotiation, and building a strong team culture.
- Agile: Adapt to changes with emphasis on continuous improvement and flexibility; understand adaptive planning and rapid responses.
- APIs: Design, develop, and manage APIs; create and maintain API documentation, implement API security, and understand API testing; enable interaction between software systems.
- Analysis: Examine complex problems, break down components, and understand how parts work together.
- Automation: Design, implement, manage, and optimize automated systems and processes; understand technical and business implications.
- Frameworks: Understand and apply structured environments for software development; leverage existing frameworks to improve efficiency and code manageability.
