SAP Tech Consultant (m/f/d)

Location: Madrid, Spain (Remote 60%)

Our client is a global leader in the chemical industry and is characterized by the development of innovative solutions in various sectors. Join their rapidly growing and international Digital Hub in Madrid to become part of their digitalization journey by supporting their SAP Application Platforms, focusing on SAP customization.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Develop a scalable and customizable product, translating functional requirements into technical specifications and designing sustainable solutions.
2. Utilize standard functionalities to minimize non-standard development.
3. Convert functional requirements into technical specifications, leveraging business and process knowledge for optimal technical designs.
4. Develop SAP/UI5 applications using Fiori methodology and guidelines.
5. Enhance solutions by building on a third-party ABAP-based foundation.
6. Manage global and site-specific releases according to predefined release management processes.
7. Integrate backend systems with the Yard Management ABAP product foundation.
8. Conduct unit testing, support functional and user acceptance testing, and automate regression tests.
9. Collaborate with a diverse, global team to create the best solutions, driving innovation and continuous enhancement of the product.
10. Act as a technical expert in yard management and SAP Cloud and Gateway Applications, and participate in designing a global yard logistics template.

Your Profile:

1. Several years of experience in SAP Fiori and/or SAPUI5 design/development.
2. Good knowledge of SAP Cloud environment.
3. In-depth knowledge of SAP Fiori UX concepts, SAP Fiori Client, and Launchpad.
4. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
5. Excellent decision-making skills, growth mindset, strong teamwork abilities, and outstanding communication skills.
6. High level of English proficiency.
