Tasks in the role

• Building a strategy and vision for the product
• Creating long-term (1–2 years) and short-term roadmaps
• Formulating, defending, and validating product hypotheses
• Identifying, developing, and prioritizing requirements
• Maintaining the product backlog
• Monitoring and analyzing product / business metrics
• Working on monetization and unit economics
• Collaborating with development, marketing, sales, and support teams
• Leading product planning and grooming sessions
• Conducting competitive analysis
• Aligning product strategy with business stakeholders
• Communicating product plans across the company

Who we are looking for

• Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of product analytics and experience applying it
• Experience setting objectives for development teams and designers
• Strong listening, negotiation, and win-win solution skills
• Ability to quickly understand new domains
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• English proficiency at least at upper-intermediate level
• Analytical mindset

The Local Unit of Semrush focuses on helping businesses with physical locations and SABs improve local search rankings and attract nearby customers through solutions like listing management, GBP optimization, map rank tracking, and review management.
