THE ROLE

We’re seeking a highly motivated, intelligent, and energetic Product Owner to lead the development of our Socios.com App and Web App. Passion and knowledge of the Crypto and Sports industries are valuable assets for success in this role.

Reporting to the Head of Product, you will work closely with development teams to ensure business, quality, and functional goals are achieved with each release. You will be responsible for product design, usability, quality, and delivery, making key decisions on priorities and design to align stakeholders throughout the development process. You will also bridge engineering and business perspectives, representing the end user’s needs.

• Master the art of simplicity and prioritization to optimize work on user stories and minimize unnecessary tasks.
• Have a passion for sports and / or crypto industries, with a strong understanding of current technology trends and innovative features.
• Be aware of development phases and communicate feedback effectively to lead the team successfully.
• Possess full understanding of Agile methodologies and participate in all Scrum rituals.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Facilitate go-to-market strategies aligning with marketing and sales goals.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories with the technical team.
• Create clear specifications for product features.
• Gather and deliver all necessary materials (wireframes, designs, assets, documentation) from stakeholders.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Assess value and develop cases to prioritize stories aligned with the product strategy.
• Motivate the development team to deliver innovative solutions with urgency.
• Ensure the team has ready tasks to work on.
• Collaborate with UXR team for customer research.
• Engage continuously with customers and stakeholders to ensure product relevance and ROI.
• Act as an internal and external ambassador for the product and as the primary technical contact.

Daily Duties

• Write and split user stories.
• Specify acceptance criteria.
• Refine the product backlog.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders.
• Provide feedback to the development team.
• Participate in Scrum meetings.
• Support continuous process improvement.
• Learn about Agile practices.
• Engage with the product actively.
• Measure progress.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Manager in an Agile / Scrum environment.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and practical experience with tools like Jira.
• Experience working closely with development / engineering teams.
• Proven ability to make sound product decisions and prioritize effectively.
• Strong understanding of user needs and translating them into features.
• Interest and knowledge in cryptocurrency and / or sports industries.
• Experience defining and managing product backlogs.
