This position reports to

EL Product Marketing Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will manage the AEG DinRail portfolio in addition to ABB consumer units and compact distribution enclosures product portfolio focusing on the residential and commercial segments. You will have the opportunity to implement product marketing strategies to meet business objectives in collaboration with the Energy Distribution Business Developer. Each day, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between product development and market success by implementing marketing activities and supporting the sales team with appropriate product knowledge and training. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid. This role contributes to the Product Marketing department in the Electrification Smart Building division in Spain. Main stakeholders are installers and electric wholesalers. You will be mainly accountable for:

  1. Conducting extensive research to understand the target audience, market trends, and competitiveness by visiting customers regularly together with the sales organization.
  2. Developing and executing marketing strategies to increase product awareness and sales, including defining and communicating product value propositions.
  3. Achieving order demand targets by overseeing progress regularly and defining and implementing sales and promotion plans.
  4. Analyzing sales data and gathering market feedback to evaluate product performance and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  5. Providing the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and materials to effectively sell the product.
  6. Supporting product price positioning aligned with local strategy by compelling price variation analysis.

Qualifications for the role
  • You are immersed in working with customer-centric methodologies and marketing foundations along the electrical market.
  • Ability to demonstrate your skills in electrical/electronic project definition, on-site electrical operation, or product portfolio management.
  • You are innovative around communication, initiative, leadership, curiosity, and you have the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and collaborate having a results orientation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electricity or Electronics or similar. Also, valuable vocational training degree, such as FP.
  • You are at ease communicating in fluent English.
