We are hiring a Product Manager - Industrial Sector Lead . This role is pivotal as open source technologies transform the industrial sector, especially in IoT, edge computing, robotics, and Industry 4.0 solutions. Ubuntu plays a key role in these innovations, being deployed across manufacturing, automation, and industrial platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product lifecycle, including defining priorities and goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on strategies and address challenges.
• Conduct market research, industry trend analysis, and gather customer feedback.
• Communicate the product vision and updates to stakeholders.
• Iterate on products based on usability testing and user feedback.
• Develop go-to-market strategies with marketing, sales, and support teams.
• Support sales efforts by reviewing customer feedback and participating in meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background.
• Experience in product management within technical domains related to open source software.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, IoT, and edge computing.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Understanding of industrial open source software and infrastructure projects like Kubernetes and OpenStack.
• Solid Linux and open source community knowledge.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology.
• Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year.

This role is remote within the EMEA region.
