Formación

Job Description:

Job Summary: The Product Manager defines and implements strategies addressed to market requirements for the product menu. Performs product management and prepares a marketing support program for a dedicated product line. Provides marketing assistance to field personnel and customers. Leverages scientific expertise to ensure the achievement of the objectives set for the Business Line and collaborates with cross-functional teams to shape tactics, navigate regulatory landscapes, and drive product success.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Prepare the launch of new products: market research, positioning, competition, publications, and value proposition.
  2. Stay updated on market needs and competitor analysis.
  3. Provide the commercial network with arguments to counter objections, based on the value-selling method.
  4. Prepare marketing materials: brochures, catalogs, presentations, digital campaigns, etc.
  5. Prepare product information for registration, technical data sheets, safety files, inserts, etc.
  6. Participate in workshops, congresses, scientific sessions, and other events.
  7. Encourage evaluation of products to generate scientific articles.
  8. Assist in tender preparations, including technical documentation.
  9. Maintain data in SAP and update company websites and databases.
  10. Act as key marketing technical liaison, providing product and regulatory information.
  11. Coordinate with suppliers on product issues and updates.
  12. Work with logistics on product incidents and stock management.
  13. Maintain communication with technical services regarding instrument and software problems.
  14. Build relationships with KOLs and support sales visits.
  15. Provide customer presentations and train sales staff.
  16. Manage internal projects with minimal supervision.
  17. Ensure compliance with Werfen's Code of Ethics.

Networking/Key relationships: Commercial team, Technical Service, Logistics, Contracting, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Strategic Business Unit, other affiliates and units.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Life Sciences or Medicine; Hematology knowledge valuable; additional business or marketing degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least three years in IVD industry or hospital laboratory, preferably hematology.
  • Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is valuable; digital marketing knowledge beneficial.
