Job Summary
The Product Manager defines and implements strategies to meet market requirements for the product portfolio. Responsibilities include product management, developing marketing support programs, and providing assistance to field personnel and customers. The role involves leveraging scientific expertise to achieve business objectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop tactics, navigate regulatory landscapes, and drive product success.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare product launches : market research, positioning, competition analysis, publications, and value propositions.
- Monitor market needs and competitor activity.
- Equip the commercial team with arguments to counter objections, based on value-selling methods.
- Create marketing materials : brochures, catalogs, presentations, digital campaigns, etc.
- Prepare product documentation : registration, technical data sheets, safety files, inserts, etc.
- Participate in workshops, congresses, scientific sessions, and other events.
- Encourage scientific evaluation and publication of products.
- Assist in tender preparations, especially the technical sections, collaborating with sales and tenders departments.
- Maintain accurate data in SAP and update Teams database and company website.
- Act as a key marketing and technical liaison, providing product and regulatory information to sales, service, and customers.
- Coordinate with suppliers on product issues and updates.
- Work with logistics on incidents like back orders and stock management.
- Communicate regularly with technical services regarding instrument, software, and reagent issues.
- Maintain relationships with KOLs and support the sales team during visits.
- Deliver customer presentations and train sales team members.
- Manage internal projects with minimal supervision.
- Ensure compliance with Werfen's Code of Ethics.

- Bachelor's or Master’s in Life Sciences or Medicine (desirable)
- Hematology knowledge (highly valuable)
- Additional degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred)
- At least three years’ experience in IVD industry or hospital laboratory, preferably in Hematology
