Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multicultural, international team of data specialists, key account managers, and technical experts (3-4 people).
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring data production, quality control, and timely client delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven team culture while effectively managing diverse team dynamics.
Technical & Database Management
  • Manage and oversee the Agrowin database, which compiles market data on plant protection products from global panel data providers.
  • Ensure accurate harmonization of external market data with internal manufacturer data, improving consistency, usability, and alignment with industry standards.
  • Supervise the structuring, processing, and quality control of incoming data, ensuring compliance with international regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement data harmonization strategies to integrate data from multiple sources into a unified format.
  • Work closely with IT developers to enhance database architecture, automate data processing, and improve accessibility.
Product Development & Process Optimization
  • Adapt and expand Agrowin services to meet evolving client needs.
  • Ensure fast and accurate delivery of harmonized data, optimizing data transformation and processing pipelines.
  • Identify and implement new service offerings that combine Agrowin data with Homologa and other platforms.
  • Maintain a proactive approach in monitoring service quality and improving operational efficiency.
Business Development & Client Engagement
  • Promote and expand Agrowin/World-Agrocode services internationally.
  • Engage with global clients, regulatory authorities, and industry stakeholders to align services with market demands.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and service expansion strategies.
  • Work closely with the sales team on contract negotiations and client management.
Strategy & Compliance
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance data accuracy, operational efficiency, and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal quality protocols.
  • Provide strategic direction on product development, market positioning, and digital transformation.
Workplace
  • It is going to be a trial period in France and then remote work from Galicia.
Requirements:
Technical & Industry Expertise
  • Strong expertise in agronomy, plant protection products, and agricultural input markets (pesticides, seeds, fertilizers).
  • Experience in market research, regulatory frameworks, and digital farming technologies.
  • Deep understanding of database management, data structuring, and data harmonization.
  • Experience working with panel data providers and manufacturer data in the agricultural industry.
  • Affinity for IT solutions, data analytics, and cloud-based technologies.
Leadership & Business Acumen
  • Proven experience managing international, multicultural teams.
  • Strong decision-making, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex team dynamics and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Experience in business development, commercialization, and client engagement.

Additional Requirements
  • Education: Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Biotechnology, Plant Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Languages: Fluent English (mandatory); French is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with database management, data harmonization, and market data processing.
  • Availability: Willingness to travel internationally (50%) and relocate to the region for at least one year.
