N26 is hiring a Product Manager for the Cards & Digital Wallets segment, spanning Barcelona and Berlin. You will own automation initiatives to cut cost-to-serve and improve the customer experience by deflecting support contacts and automating card and chargeback workflows.

Bring 3+ years in FinTech product management, a bias for automation, and knowledge of card networks. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions while balancing risk and compliance.

About the opportunity

We are seeking a Product Manager with a desire to build products that make banking radically more efficient, and an innate interest in financial technology to join our Cards & Digital Wallets segment. The Cards & Digital Wallets segment is split between Barcelona and Berlin offices, which are the main product & tech hubs for N26 globally.

As a Product Manager in Cards & Digital Wallets, you will own initiatives that reduce cost-to-serve and drive automation across the cards and chargeback experience. Your mission is to make our operations leaner and our customer experience faster — automating manual processes, deflecting avoidable support contacts, and applying agentic AI to resolve customer issues before they ever reach a human. This is where operational excellence meets customer trust: every process you automate lowers cost and makes banking smoother for millions of N26 customers.

In this role, you will:

• Own a clear problem space focused on automation and cost-to-serve —identifying where manual effort, support contacts, and operational friction can be improved
• Drive down CS contacts, including through agentic AI that resolves customer issues autonomously, and automate back-office workflows such as dispute and chargeback handling
• Partner with stakeholders across N26 to define your team goals and drive it to achieve success.
• Receive support from different areas in the company in order to identify pain points and opportunities, brainstorm solutions and impact customers’ lives.
• Work with other product managers, designers and engineers across the organization to improve to make operationally heavy journeys faster and cheaper to run
• Partner closely with Customer Service, Operations, Fraud, Compliance, and our AI/automation teams to translate operational pain into scalable product
• Balance automation and efficiency against customer experience, risk, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure product rollouts are delivered successfully by working cross-functionally with local market teams, operations compliance, and engineering.
• Give a great purpose to your SQL skills to measure impact and track results.

What you need to be successful:

• 3+ years experience in Product Management ideally gained in a FinTech, banking environment, cards products (or similar)
• A strong bias toward automation and efficiency, with instincts for where technology can replace manual effort
• Interest in or exposure to AI/agentic automation and how it can be applied to customer support and operations
• Experience with Cards networks (VISA, AMEX, Mastercard), or Cards' processors.
• STEM, business, economics undergraduate. MBA, MS or equivalent would be a plus.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills (you are familiar with SQL)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of agile product development and delivery.
• Previous experience dealing with high engaged third party providers.
