We’re seeking a Product Engineer / Software Developer to build innovative solutions, optimize systems, and tackle exciting technical challenges. You will play a key role in scaling our technology and delivering impactful solutions.

How Product Engineers work @ Qatium

Our teams are formed around functional verticals with their own vision and goals to drive iterations and value impact. They are structured as:

• Multidisciplinary agile teams including Product Engineers, Product Designers, and Product Managers collaborating to achieve company OKRs.
• Problem solving and product development to design, build, and run scalable business processes.
• Strategic planning to identify opportunities for growth and value creation.
• Emphasis on feedback, testing, conversations, and short cycles to deliver early value.
• Practices such as pair programming, code reviews, and TDD to ensure quality.
• Use of trunk-based development, feature flags, CI/CD, and automation tools.
• Remote communication via Slack and Jira, with weekly syncs to coordinate efforts.

We value 80% matching candidates with skills including:

• Typescript, React
• Jest or similar testing frameworks
• Persistence: SQL & NoSQL
• CI/CD management
• API design

Additional technologies you may work with include Cypress/Playwright, Vite, OpenAI, and observability tools.

Experience & Education

We are looking for candidates with 5+ years in software development, ideally within high-growth tech or product organizations. Experience in developing and scaling user-centric products that impact business is essential. A degree or technical education is a plus, but proven impact and experience are valued most.

Other Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Availability for occasional travel.
