Descripción del empleo

As a Product Designer (at Senior, Lead or Principal level), you’ll collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, our User Insights team and other cross-functional teams to craft world-class products with embedded privacy and data protection features that will revolutionize the way people search, surf, and exist online.

Responsibilities include:

1. Implementing our privacy-first AI chat into our search product.
2. Launching screen animations for mobile.
3. Design and test alternative Duck Player mobile entry points and UX.
4. Exploring and testing concepts to improve overall user experience and increase delight.
5. Adding creativity and visual appeal through bold color, typography, motion, and interaction choices.
6. Leading impactful projects from ideation to execution, assessing vague problems, proposing solutions, and executing against success criteria.
7. Participating in all product-related design decisions and supporting our ethical, privacy by design approach.

About You

1. Minimum 6+ years of experience in product design, including 2+ years in senior roles at significant global consumer brands.
2. Proficiency in managing projects of varying complexity with cross-functional collaboration.
3. Strong visual design skills with a focus on delight and creativity.
4. Ability to communicate design concepts effectively through mockups, prototypes, and rationales.
5. Experience in research and experimentation, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data.
6. Ability to manage ambiguity, propose innovative solutions, and focus on metrics.
7. Initiative in generating ideas and working collaboratively.
8. Experience in strategy, prioritization, and user testing within the product process.

Compensation

$178,500 – $243,800 USD annually plus stock options. Compensation is consistent across professional levels and locations, with transparent organization-wide salary bands.
