As a Product Designer (at Senior, Lead or Principal level), you’ll collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, our User Insights team and other cross-functional teams to craft world-class products with embedded privacy and data protection features that will revolutionize the way people search, surf, and exist online.

Your responsibilities will include implementing our privacy-first AI chat into our search product, launching screen animations for mobile, and designing and testing alternative Duck Player mobile entry points and UX. You will have the opportunity to enhance our products by exploring and testing concepts that improve overall experience and increase user delight, appealing to a broader audience.

We are eager to leverage not just your UX skills but also your creativity and ability to add delight to our products. As a visual designer at heart, you care about craft, challenge norms, and aim to differentiate our brand through bold use of color, typography, motion, and interactions.

Using your hands-on design skills, you will lead impactful projects that scale across millions of users. From ideation to execution, you will assess vague problems, propose high-impact solutions, and execute them against success criteria. About You

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in product design roles, including 2+ years in senior-level positions at significant global consumer brands.
• Proficiency in managing projects of varying complexity, collaborating transparently with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong visual design skills that bring delight and creativity into apps with bold color, typography, and interactions.
• Ability to solve challenging design problems while maintaining high-quality craft.
• Excellent communication of visual and interaction recommendations via mockups, prototypes, and rationales.
• Experience in writing creative briefs that define project goals, rationale, and success metrics.
• Proficiency in research and experimentation, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data.
• Skills to manage ambiguity, propose innovative solutions, and focus on metrics.
• Initiative in generating ideas and executing them with urgency and collaboration.
• Willingness to educate, guide, and support others, maintaining quality across design areas.
• Experience in product process areas including prioritization, strategy, and user testing.

Compensation

Annual salary range of $178,500 – $243,800 USD plus stock options. Compensation is consistent across professional levels and locations, with transparent organization-wide salary bands.
