As a Product Designer (Senior, Lead, or Principal), you will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, the User Insights team, and other cross-functional teams to craft world-class products with embedded privacy and data protection features that will revolutionize online search, browsing, and existence.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Implementing our privacy-first AI chat into our search product.
2. Launching screen animations for mobile.
3. Designing and testing alternative Duck Player mobile entry points and UX.

You will have the opportunity to enhance our products by exploring and testing concepts that improve user experience, increase delight, and broaden our audience.

This role emphasizes not only UX skills but also creativity and the ability to add visual appeal through bold color, typography, motion, and interaction choices. You will lead impactful projects from ideation to execution, assessing vague problems, proposing high-impact solutions, and executing them based on success criteria.

About You

• Minimum 6+ years of product design experience, including 2+ years in senior roles at significant global consumer brands.
• Proficiency in managing complex projects from proposal to release, collaborating transparently with stakeholders.
• A strong visual design portfolio demonstrating delight and creativity with bold colors, typography, and interactions.
• Ability to solve challenging design problems with high-quality craft.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting mockups, prototypes, and rationales.
• Experience in writing creative briefs with clear goals and success metrics.
• Skilled in research and experimentation, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, propose innovative solutions, and focus on metrics.
• Proactive in generating ideas and working collaboratively with urgency.
• Willingness to mentor others and maintain high-quality design execution.
• Experience in product strategy, prioritization, and user testing.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $178,500 to $243,800 USD, plus stock options. Compensation levels are transparent and consistent across locations and teams.
