As a Product Designer (at Senior, Lead or Principal level), you’ll collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, our User Insights team, and other cross-functional teams to craft world-class products with embedded privacy and data protection features that will revolutionize the way people search, surf, and exist online.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement our privacy-first AI chat into our search product.
- Launch screen animations for mobile.
- Design and test alternative Duck Player mobile entry points and UX.
- Explore and test concepts to improve user experience and increase delight across a broader audience.
- Contribute creatively through visual design, challenging norms with bold colors, typography, motion, and interactions.
- Lead impactful projects from ideation to execution, assessing vague problems and proposing high-impact solutions.
- Participate in all product-related design decisions, advocating for our ethical, privacy-by-design approach.
About You
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in product design, including 2+ years in senior roles at significant global consumer brands.
- Proficiency in managing complex projects with transparency and collaboration.
- Strong visual design skills with a penchant for bold color, typography, and interaction choices.
- Ability to communicate design rationale through high-quality mockups, prototypes, and briefs.
- Experience leveraging qualitative and quantitative data for decision-making.
- Skilled in managing ambiguity, proposing innovative solutions, and executing with a focus on metrics.
- Proactive in generating ideas and working collaboratively with urgency.
- Experience in product strategy, prioritization, and user testing.
Compensation
Annual salary ranges from $178,500 to $243,800 USD, including stock options. Compensation is consistent across professional levels and locations, with transparent organization-wide standards.
