The Opportunity

As a Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and design strategy for our generative AI products. You will work closely with our Lead Product Designer and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, impactful, and visually stunning designs that leverage the power of AI to solve real-world problems. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a passion for AI-driven innovation, and the ability to lead our process, standards, and rituals within the team.

Our Generative AI team will act as a central hub, collaborating with existing teams to deliver GenAI-enabled solutions, identifying and leading new initiatives, and building backend architecture to serve GenAI models at scale, all while controlling costs.

Location

This is a remote position open to candidates based in Portugal, Poland, or Spain. We are currently unable to consider applications from outside these countries.

Responsibilities

1. Contribute to the design vision, process, and strategy for generative AI projects, ensuring compatibility with user needs and business goals.
2. Collaborate with senior designers, product managers, and researchers on defining customer experiences through tools like personas, journey maps, and experience frameworks.
3. Work within cross-functional teams to craft end-to-end user experiences.
4. Participate in design rituals and contribute to maintaining design standards and best practices.
5. Rapidly design, prototype, and test concepts for features and products.
6. Assist in planning and participating in co-creation workshops.
7. Communicate design ideas and decisions effectively to stakeholders.
8. Leverage data and feedback to iterate on design solutions.
9. Manage multiple projects, focusing on quality and deadlines.
10. Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in design and AI.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in product design; experience with AI or data-driven products is a plus.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
3. Proficiency in all stages of product design.
4. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
5. Curiosity and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
6. Data-driven mindset focused on user outcomes.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Willingness to learn and grow under mentorship.
