Getnet Platforms, part of Santander Payment Solutions, is seeking a Product Analyst in Madrid to translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories, guiding delivery across teams. This hybrid role emphasizes collaboration with Product, UX/UI, Engineering, and Operations to deliver value in a complex payments environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product analysis, strong analytic and communication skills, and experience in Agile settings.

• Minimum 5+ years in Product/Business/Digital Analysis or similar.
• Experience translating business needs into functional requirements and user stories.
• Experience with Agile environments and backlog refinement.
• Experience collaborating with Product, UX/UI, Engineering, and Operations.
• Familiarity with payments or operational workflows is a plus.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Product Analyst, these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:

• Analyse business and user requirements to define product needs, expected outcomes, and delivery priorities.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog refinement by documenting requirements, clarifying scope, tracking dependencies, and ensuring stories are ready for development.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX/UI, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Validate delivered functionality through functional reviews and support QA and UAT against agreed acceptance criteria.
• Maintain accurate product documentation to support development, delivery, and operational continuity.
• Identify product gaps, delivery risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, escalating them when needed.
• Support release planning and cross-team coordination to ensure smooth product delivery.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Product Analyst to join our team, with the following qualifications and background.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Product Analysis, Business Analysis, Functional Analysis, UX support, or Digital Product Delivery. (Required)
• Experience translating business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. (Required)
• Experience working closely with Product, UX/UI, Engineering, and Operations teams. (Required)
• Experience working in Agile environments and supporting backlog refinement. (Required)
• Experience in complex, data-driven environments. (Preferred)
• Experience in payments, banking, or operational platforms. (Preferred)

Education

• University degree in Business, Engineering, Design, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. (Required)

Languages

• Fluent Spanish. (Required)

Hard Skills

• Agile ways of working.
