Job summary

Glovo is seeking a Procurement Operations Manager to lead and continuously improve our procurement operations from the Barcelona office. You will guide a team of procurement professionals, partnering with Finance, Technology and other stakeholders to drive performance and scalable procurement services.

Responsibilities include owning KPIs, developing meaningful reporting, and driving process simplification, standardisation, digitalisation and automation while ensuring governance and audit

Qualifications

• Experience in Procurement Operations or Source-to-Pay in an international setting.
• Proven leadership of procurement teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, governance and controls.
• Analytical mindset with KPI-driven decision making.
• Experience driving process improvement, digitisation or automation.
• Project and stakeholder management across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement operations, ensuring efficient, accurate and compliant execution from requisition to PO.
• Coach and develop the team, setting objectives and fostering ownership and collaboration.
• Own operational KPIs and SLAs, using data to drive improvements.
• Develop reporting and translate procurement data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Identify opportunities to standardise, digitalise and automate processes.
• Partner with Technology on process and system enhancements from requirements to adoption.
• Ensure adherence to policies and internal controls, supporting governance and audit readiness.
• Manage complex issues and escalations, driving root-cause solutions.
• Build cross-functional relationships as a key procurement operations partner.
