Formación

  • At least two years of experience in procurement or vendor management.

Your role as Procurement Officer

In this role you will lead procurement activities related to the commodities and geographical scope assigned and provide advice and expertise to further develop the procurement activities at Orange Business. You will get plenty opportunities to grow & develop.

Your keyareas of responsibility

  • Actively lead the collection of internal stakeholder needs
  • Support commercial negotiation with suppliers (pricing, commercial clauses of the contracts, etc.)
  • Support selection of suppliers and present procurement recommendations in alignment with Orange Business’ needs
  • Communicate and promote the usage of selected suppliers and negotiated contracts among group entities
  • Provide input and expertise to customer project negotiations to ensure maximum cost optimization / savings
  • Set up regular business reviews, follow supplier business within and outside Orange Business, identify suppliers risks and adopt appropriate mitigation actions
  • Manage contract & contract lifecycle
  • Act as a single point of contact to the supplier for commercial issues related to their commodities

Your main deliverables will therefore be to build strong relationships with the relevant business units assigned and lead procurement, support project initiatives, and manage relationships with suppliers. This position also works closely with the business units assigned to them, including cross country relationships if necessary.

As the ideal candidate you bring

Your technical expertise

  • University degree in a business-related field (Business Administration, Finance etc.) or equivalent work experience within the field of procurement
  • Strong background and knowledge of procurement process and policy creation
  • At least two years of experience within a related field, such as business administration or vendor management
  • Experience with developing internal processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good understanding of Excel
  • Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to build and own policy and procedure in line with corporate structure
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to succeed
  • Proactivity and confidence in taking initiative and leading activities
  • Skilled at building strong relationships across teams and functions
  • Flexible and open to change, with a positive attitude toward new challenges
  • Committed to continuous learning and personal growth

It is not a requirement, but other preferred qualifications would be

  • Experience from working in the IT industry
  • A fundamental understanding of the value procurement brings to a business
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian
