Descripción del empleo

As Procurement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering procurement capabilities that support Cevai and its client base. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a greenfield procurement function at a time of rapid evolution, where you'll directly support strategy, processes, and tooling from the ground up. The role offers broad exposure across the third-party lifecycle in a modern, technology-led business, where procurement is seen as a key enabler of growth, resilience, and value creation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with business teams across multiple entities to plan and execute source-to-contract activities, driving improved value, performance, and risk management.
  2. Support business teams with structured Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks to optimise contract outcomes and mitigate third-party risks.
  3. Act as category lead across a broad range of spend areas, with a particular focus on IT, cloud, and digital services.
  4. Identify and execute cost-efficiency improvements, ensuring commercial value while maintaining best practices in third-party risk management.
  5. Improve transactional efficiency by managing supplier onboarding, renewals, and contract changes to ensure seamless operations.
  6. Analyse and optimise existing contracts, identifying opportunities for consolidation, cost savings, or value add.
  7. Conduct supplier due diligence for high-risk engagements, including assessments on cyber security, data privacy, and operational resilience.
  8. Support contract drafting, review, and negotiation, ensuring adequate contract safeguards and incentives to drive performance and mitigate risks.
  9. Help build and embed core procurement tools (e.g. contract database) and governance models that enable a high-performing, scalable function.
Required Skills & Experience
  1. Proven experience in procurement consultancy or in-house roles within fast-paced, tech-driven environments undergoing significant change.
  2. Experience supporting greenfield or early-stage procurement functions is preferred.
  3. Comfortable operating strategically and hands-on - you bring clarity, structure, and momentum.
  4. Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, supplier management, and risk mitigation.
  5. Deep understanding of cost optimisation and value creation strategies.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  7. High-impact influencing skills and adaptability in a fast-moving landscape.
  8. Strong written communication - able to create clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
  9. You prioritise effectively, meet deadlines, and execute with accuracy.
Why Join?
  1. Be at the heart of an exciting transformation journey - this is a rare chance to play a key role in developing and implementing procurement capabilities from the ground up.
  2. Broad exposure across multiple categories and client engagements, offering diverse experience and accelerated learning and development.
  3. Work with a forward-thinking team that values agility, innovation, and impact.
  4. Attractive salary and customisable benefits package.
  5. Hybrid ways of working.
  6. Contemporary and accessible office environments with a range of workplace perks.
  7. Being part of a team with a forward-looking, international mindset and agile working practices.
  8. Wellbeing programmes, learning and personal growth opportunities.
