An international company specializing in the distribution of insulation and HVAC solutions is seeking a Procurement Category Manager based in Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve the best value for the company.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
• Support proactively a region in Europe and its teams in strategic procurement and supplier relations.
• Evaluate and update the category management strategy for specific product groups.
• Conduct market analysis, monitor market trends, new products, technologies, and supplier capabilities to identify potential sourcing opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams of the various group companies to create effective promotional campaigns.
• Support cross-functional projects, e.g. related to sustainability.
• Work on KPIs according to procurement strategy and company targets.
