Formación

  • Experiencia mínima de 3 años en un puesto similar en el sector industrial.

Job Description:

FUNCTIONS

Our client is a global leader in innovative packaging solutions. You will join a dynamic team within a truly international working environment collaborating with plants in Spain, France, and Portugal.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. You will focus on cutting procurement expenses to enable the company to invest in growth and people.
  2. You will improve the company for your Procurement Category through local strategy definition and implementation, regional and local synergies, development of category knowledge, process optimization, TCO optimization to reach the objectives of profitability, quality, and project terms.
  3. Reporting to the Procurement Manager France & Iberia, you will be responsible for:
    1. Strategy: Develop necessary information related to the suppliers of your panel to elaborate and monitor your category strategy. Lead and execute Procurement strategies for the suppliers’ panel in your category developing, promoting, globalizing, or substituting. Further develop the category strategy, risk management, and reverse engineering to better understand supply cost structure and supplier development. Install KPIs at all levels to monitor the implementation strategy. Actively support business development activities and other value-adding cross-sectional projects from a purchasing perspective. Set up state-of-the-art purchasing standards to implement the procurement category strategy.
    2. Sourcing: Initiate and lead the processes of regional sourcing to assure the fulfillment of objectives of capacity, quality, price, time limit, service, reliability, financial health, and technical backup. Identify and source new suppliers and launch calls for tenders.
    3. Negotiation: Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
    4. Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and manage Procurement contracts and agreements.
    5. Stakeholders Management: Support plant project teams in the assignment process and monitoring forward sourcing. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
    6. Troubleshooting: Manage and solve cost, quality, and delivery concerns related to suppliers and plants.
    7. Database Management: Establish and update an approved supplier panel. Create your own database for your procurement category, centralize price updates when possible.

Requisites:

  1. University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain or equivalent education.
  2. Minimum 3 years in a similar position in the industrial sector (preferably in the packaging industry).
  3. Fluent in English, French, and Spanish (Portuguese would be a plus, German and/or Italian are an advantage but not necessary).
  4. Proficient in Office.
  5. Willingness to travel in France, Spain, and Portugal (up to 30-40%).
  6. Excellent soft skills, business and emotional intelligence, and exemplary work ethics.
  7. Ability to work with a high degree of self-responsibility and proven influential capabilities.
