Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is essential.
  • Strong skills in LEAN Sigma and effective communication are required.

Descripción del empleo

The position of the Process Engineer Team Leader under the supervision of the management team at the department, is defined to support the manufacturing activity as gatekeeper of the Industrialization process by the assurance of the GSM recipes for production, providing the best configuration for the equipment and manufacturing costing routes and instructions that represent the proper assignment of the production resources.

Job Function First Lot Control / Launch / Industrialization process contributions:
  • Scale-up and commercialization of laboratory paint formulas.
  • Provide solutions for production routes and bridge between R&D and Plant manufacturing Scale.
  • Support batch consistency as defined by First Run Capability (FRC) or First Time Quality (FTQ) by assuring 100% of FLA with no adjustment in stable items as part of the FLC loop.
  • Support internal non conformities root cause analysis to achieve 80% RCE identify.
  • Make proposal for STD of process that can be strength or better defined.
  • Provide Department feedback in external problem solving discussions with customer issues. Support SSPL / AMU strategy of the Plant.
GSM / Oracle R12 manufacturing support:
  • Support driver of Formula in the system.
  • Cost effective conversion of raw materials to finished goods.
  • Build 3 VSM and contribute to identify activities under potential revision for optimization.
  • Supporting STD creation of process to production instructions.
Manufacturing EHS & Quality System:
  • Development and maintenance of EHS and local process requirements such as PSM, PHA’s, PSSR’s, and work instructions.
Process Engineer Level Team Leader:
  • At this level the PE Team leader must be identified as process and product expert, supporting the Plant.
  • Support the Process Safety Plant Committee in the hazards and risks analysis.
  • Comprehension and ability to manage and maintain multiple unit operations and associated equipment; and process technologies.
  • Skills and competences to support start-up, management of a complex unit operation.
  • Trained and able to apply LEAN Sigma logic, Green Belt, DOE or other Quality Tool.
  • Demonstrated customer presentation competency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor in Chemical Engineering.
  • Effective human relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to move project tasks in a positive forward direction with effectiveness.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
