Offer Description

You will form part of a state-of-the-art research center, geared to sustainability and the circular economy, which has helped electrify Spain s roads and is now working towards 100% future sustainability.

The developer will join the Energy Materials Unit, working on the process of cell assembly with the aim of improving the process and obtaining an indepth knowledge of the main parameters affecting the cell assembly.

Your work will focus on the following activities:

Analysing the assembly process and identifying critical parameters to optimize the processs.
Determining failure modes of the assembled cells, relating them to the corresponding assembling step and defining corrective actions to mitigate the failures.
Closely communicating with machine suppliers during new equipment search and new equipment fine-tuning at facilities.
Elaborating process documentation.
You will also be involved in:

Planning technical tasks.
Participating in different projects focused on cell assembly tasks.
Managing projects documentation, both internal and external, including writing project reports.

Requirements
Education:

Process engineer, mechanical engineer, mechatronic, battery engineer

Languages:

High level of written and spoken English

Knowledge:

The successful candidate will demonstrate a sound knowledge in:

Manufacturing processes
Mechanical setup development
CAD Programming (solidworks, Autocad, etc.)
Others:

Technical knowledge on batteries will be considered a plus
Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
Being able of carrying out several lines of work simultaneously, optimizing resources and maximizing results.

Observations:

A highly motivated person, with a keen interest in research and innovation, you will join a multidisciplinary team. You will be able to organise your work, meeting both the deadlines and the established objectives. Problem-solving capacity and scientific criteria. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
