Job Description :

Private Debt Fund SR Analyst / Associate (Italian speaker) - Madrid or Milano

Alantra Private Debt is seeking an Italian-speaking analyst/associate to support its various investment strategies. Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting financing transactions: analyzing companies and markets, reviewing due diligence materials, preparing detailed financial models and memorandums for investment committees, reviewing legal documents, mainly focused on Italian transactions but with flexibility to support other European deals.
  2. Monitoring portfolio investments: analyzing and producing periodic reports on fund performance and the financial health of portfolio companies.
  3. Supporting key functions: identifying financing opportunities through meetings with potential target companies, private equity funds, and advisors; assisting in the launch of future funds, supporting marketing tasks, and performing administrative activities.
Requirements :

Role requirements

  • Between 2-5 years of experience in debt, private equity, hedge funds, a leading investment bank (M&A, Structured Finance, or DCM), or a strategic consultancy firm.
  • Native or bilingual Italian speaker.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; knowledge of French, German, or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Strong academic background with financial knowledge, including accounting, financial statement analysis, and valuation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • International experience is highly valued.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to contribute ideas and work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
