Formación

Job Description

The Privacy Team is an internal service provider that supports Sportradar's fast growth by ensuring a solid and secure foundation.

Due to some exciting growth here at Sportradar, we are looking for a PRIVACY SPECIALIST .

The main focus of this role will be vendor privacy risk management, tracking and updating the records of processing activities at Sportradar, supporting data retention initiatives across the organization, and administering awareness and training programs on data protection within Sportradar. The successful applicant will play an active part in Sportradar’s business AI transformation and expansion to new betting and gaming markets.

The Challenge :

  • Performing, recording, and keeping vendor privacy assessments up-to-date to ensure compliance with Sportradar’s requirements (internal and external) and applicable privacy laws.
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating vendor data protection agreements.
  • Tracking and updating our records of processing activities (ROPAs).
  • Supporting the Privacy Team and business stakeholders during data deletion and destruction schedule implementations.
  • Managing staff awareness and training programs on data privacy and protection, including our Privacy Champions Program.
  • Supporting the Senior Privacy Lead with handling data subject requests, updating privacy documentation, and training local data protection officers.
  • Supporting the Privacy Analyst with privacy impact assessments.
  • Researching legislative developments in privacy and data protection across jurisdictions where Sportradar operates, including Europe, Switzerland, and the Americas.

About You

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar international privacy / data protection role.
  • Good knowledge of privacy laws and regulations, especially GDPR, with awareness of evolving privacy landscape.
  • Understanding of applications and systems, including current AI features.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • AI privacy knowledge, IAPP or similar certifications, and experience with OneTrust are advantageous.
  • Passion for privacy, AI, sports, and technology.

Additional Information
