What you will do:

The Roles, Key Responsibilities, and Tasks

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges, and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As Privacy & Data Protection Counsel, you will support both the strategy and daily operations in our Data Protection Office, reporting to the Head of Privacy & Data Protection Officer.

You will be in charge of:

• Be an expert advisor on international privacy and data protection laws, including cutting-edge areas like AI regulation
• Help develop and implement innovative privacy tools and technologies
• Partner with cross-functional teams to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes
• Promote a culture of privacy awareness through engaging training sessions
• Stay ahead of industry trends and legal updates
• Contribute to a knowledge base on privacy-related topics
• Work with a passionate team at the forefront of data privacy and AI

What you need to succeed:

Job Requirements

Bring your unique perspective, speak up, and offer disruptive solutions. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow while making a real impact. Here’s what you need:

• At least 3 years of experience in privacy, data protection, digital compliance, with a strong understanding of AI and digital laws and standards; experience with privacy & compliance tools
• European Law degree, ideally from Spain, with membership of a European Bar if permitted by law, or relevant degree with postgraduate data protection education
• Fluency in English and Spanish (C1 level or higher); daily communication in both languages
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and data analysis skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment

Good to have:

• Experience with OneTrust, Jira, Confluence
• Experience in the travel industry advising on privacy matters
• Additional postgraduate degrees or certifications (CIPP, CIPM, IT security, etc.)
• Fluency in other European languages (French, German, Italian)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar
• Curiosity and eagerness to explore AI-driven solutions
• Ability to leverage AI tools for debugging, development, and productivity
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adapting to new AI features
• Experience collaborating with AI as a pair programmer
